Classes

I offer private yoga sessions to help address your specific needs. By working one-on-one with me, you are able to learn details about postures, breathing and meditation that can be difficult to learn in a large group. Private classes are also very helpful if you are new to the practice, struggling with certain postures or have an injury or medical issues that need attention. It can provide you with valuable tools, including modifications, and specific adjustments. Together, we can find the combination that is right for you.

I also offer donation based group classes in an effort to make yoga more accessible to everyone. Feel free to make a contribution in whatever amount you feel comfortable. By giving generously, you enable others to benefit from yoga as well. Some find that one or two sessions are enough to take their practice to the next level while others prefer regular sessions to augment their group practice.

All classes incorporate pranayama, Vinyasa flow, core strengthening, and inversions. Here’s what you’ll get:

  • Hands-on adjustments given to facilitate proper alignment to deepen your practice and to avoid injury
  • Asana modifications and variations offered to, respectively, make the practice more accessible or challenging, depending on your needs
  • Yoga sessions that vary from 1 hour to 1 hour 30 minutes
  • Yoga sessions that offer rented space, in your home, or in a public area (e.g., at the beach or at the park)
